Education Through Interaction and Compassion (ETHIC) is a program dedicated to initiating interreligious dialogue amongst high school aged girls in Baltimore. It was co-founded by Yael Hamburger and Rebecca Margolis, local high school, students in 2015. Having attended Jewish day schools for a number of years, Yael and Rebecca recognized the necessity of creating and ensuring diversity among high school students, as it is essential to education and understanding the community around us. ETHIC focuses on initiating interfaith dialogue amongst high school girls in Baltimore, and uses the bonds formed amongst the girls to impact the community around us for the greater good. As frequently as possible, they engage in community service projects throughout Baltimore. The community service aspect of ETHIC not only allows the girls to bridge the gap separating them, but also creates a spirit of unity in that we all are dedicated in making a difference. By doing so, ETHIC promotes the creation of safe spaces for discussion of both similarities and differences in order to empower young women with a better understanding of others' backgrounds and an appreciation for different perspectives.

Hollaback is a movement to end street harassment powered by a network of local activists around the world. We work together to better understand street harassment, to ignite public conversations, and to develop innovative strategies to ensure equal access to public spaces.
